In Season 3, when Harper Row just kissed Violet, out of nowhere, I already predicted that it was just a rather obvious, gratuitous moment, for token representation and that it will lead to nowhere, that we likely won't see much of her character, nor will they explore her background, relationships and sexuality in any meaningful way and that we won't get to see any further character development and watch her character grow. And where season 4 is right now, I'm not surprised it didn't happen. To say she was a standout in Season 3, is an exaggeration, as well. But, of course, writers and bloggers, these days, like to pretend that as soon as they show a glimpse a non-straight character's sexuality, that it automatically makes them standout. It doesn't. Nor should it. If normalizing is the goal, then it should be normal, not something standout or extraordinary. It almost seems like the writers themselves forgot about her character, only featured her in some scenes during graduation. It's
